Please help me connect to my WD My Book World (white light). I had access to this on my previous laptop but for some reason cannot access on my new laptop. I have tried using the WD Link app and also by using the IP address. I don't know how to set a static IP, not sure if that is the problem or not. We have thousands of family photos that I backed up to the MBWE before changing computers and I would really like to get them back.
Also…has WD stopped supporting this? Hours of searching their pages have turned up few articles about the MBWE, always redirecting me to the My Cloud. Any links I find that specifically refer to MBWE on the WD site end up being broken. Adding to frustration!
